NYXN draws from a Nordic design heritage shaped by simplicity, restraint and a deep sensitivity to place. The studio focuses on architecture and interior design that is purposeful, contextual and quietly expressive, creating spaces that deliver lasting value for clients and society alike.
Working across small commissions and larger project developments, the practice engages in new builds, refurbishments, re-purposing and the careful transformation of existing buildings for a positive change of our build environment.
Design is understood as a continuous process with the client, from initial ideas and concept development through detailing and construction with sustainability and longevity embedded as a natural outcome of clarity and efficiency.
NYXN was founded in 2025 by Nick Beissengroll, whose practice spans more than17 years across Denmark, Germany, the United Kingdom and Luxembourg.
Trained at Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany and ETH Zurich in Switzerland, Nick holds a Diploma in Architecture. He has worked with internationally renowned practices including David Chipperfield Architects, Bjarke Ingels Group, Dorte Mandrup and Henning Larsen Architects, contributing to cultural, residential, hospitality and commercial projects of varied scale and complexity.
Selected experiences include the Royal Academy of Arts in London, a Music Hall in Edinburgh, the Skypark Business Centre in Luxembourg and the Exil Museum in Berlin. Nick has further worked on a number of residential projects in Berlin, London and New York.
